The most annoying part is that it takes me an hour to get all the hoop boning in, because 155″ of steel doesn’t just slide in nicely (that’s what she said). I will have to take the boning out one more time to get this thing in checked luggage, and put it back in on the other side (then repeat for the flight home).

Yes. That was exactly my thought, too, when I got to try out a friend’s crinoline and petticoat. It felt like floating around! 🙂
