Sometimes getting a mockup to fit is like this:

I ended up throwing out the mockup from Peling’s bodice, and starting over with my Truly Victorian pattern. So far it seems to be the right move, but the TV still needs work (I’m on #2, I estimate at least two more). Amazingly, they have an active forum where the owner of Truly Victorian is happy to comment on your mockup pictures, and make suggestions to improve the fit. INTERNET YOU ARE THE BEST
