Dear self,

Just because the kirtle is going poorly, does not mean you can take a break to make all the modern clothes, especially if you want to have the outer gown done in time for Faire as well.

Not because you have some fuschia wool that has been in the stash for 5+ years (seriously, this was one of my first stash purchase) and it’s begging to be made into a coffee date dress.

Or even because Colette comes out with an AMAZING new pattern and Fabric Mart is having a 50% sale on all cotton.

P.S. It might be ok to buy the pattern and cotton anyways though, since it is a good price, and you’ll get to it eventually…right?
